Description:	Dominick Cruz was born in North Park, San Diego, California on March 9th, 1985. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where he started wrestling at age 12. He excelled in wrestling and at the age of 19, he started training in Mixed Martial Arts. In 2005, Cruz had his first professional MMA fight in Rage In The Cage 67 in Phoenix, AZ. In 2007, he moved to San Diego and now living in Chula Vista, CA, Dominick trains and fights out of Alliance Training Center. Now fighting in the WEC, he has managed to build an impressive record as one of the rising stars in MMA. Dominick has gotten most of his influence from his mother and wrestling coaches. And, in life, the most important things are family, long time friends, and to be fulfilled and happy. When he's not training or competing, Dominick enjoys water sports, wake boarding, water skiing and fishing.
