Description:
You could say I started my career my freshman year in high school. I went to my first Brazilian Ju-Jitsu class and fell in love with da sport. After a little under a year of BJJ, my mom couldn’t pay for my classes so some of my boys said I should start wrestling. So I signed up and got hooked. After three years placing sixth in da State Championship in Hawaii at 170 and only being 150 pounds, there was no turning back.
Two years and fifteen jobs later, I made my way to Vegas and after just four days living in Vegas I got hooked up with Mark Lamion at J-Seck. After training and working full-time for about six months, I got asked to help Phil Baroni train for his fights. I said “yes”, and after one session Phil asked me if I’d ever fought before. I told him “no”, and he said I SHOULD.
The next day, I called a friend in Hawai’i to get me a fight and that’s how I started in MMA.
