Sam Caplan of ProElite and 5oz, after speaking with EliteXC’s Gary Shaw has reported that they have signed “Kimbo Slice” to a long term contract.
While somewhat of a shock that a guy with 1 professional fight would be signed to a long term MMA contract before proving himself, this seems to be a somewhat solid move for EXC. Kimbo has a huge fan following on the internet, from his many street fighting videos on youtube and other video sites, and is sure to draw a crowd looking for an all out brawl. |
