Sherdog has released the details of Nick Diaz’s contract extension with EliteXC.
According to the details Diaz is guaranteed anywhere from 3-5 fights a year for 2008 and 2009. This is a great long term signing for EliteXC , and it appears Diaz will be the at the forefront of their 160lb divisionand possibly 170.
This signing and the subsequent announcement would make it a sure thing that EXC and Gary Shaw are going forward with the idea of expanding the weight classes to include a mixture of different weights. |
