The most talked about subject of the day has definitely been the CBS/EliteXC show from Saturday night and whether it was a hit or a bust. Most of us feel that the fights were solid but not spectacular (aside from the Santos/Baszler bout) but that EliteXC possibly left a lot of hype on the table that could have been created with this show
In not commiting to Kimbo and Gina Carano's future opponents they left a extreme amount of publicity for their next show unused. Both fighters were interviewed during the telecast and neither mentioned a future opponent. CBS and EliteXC need to learn from the UFC in always promoting upcoming matches and always keep pushing for the future.
There was some minor problems with the production but nothing glaring, and overall it was a good event that in another show or two the production team will be one of the best on the game.

On to the rest of the news...
