Site Review: MMA Playground

Date Added: February 13, 2008 09:55:42 PM
Author: Brian Robertson

I began to venture into the world of MMA Games in the past month or two since I opened MMATrivia looking for ideas and features to add to my sites. I had previously heard of MMA Playground and have seen quite a bit of their ads lately so what follows is my 2-3 weeks review.

Games: A+

Their fantasy game is fully functional and has many amazing features. You browse the list of upcoming fights and select your winners, but it doesnt end there. To be the points champ you have to also pick correctly the round the fight will end in, and the manner in which the fight will end.

There is also a fantasy wagering set up so you can bet your “money” on the outcomes of the fights you just predicted.

The best part about these games is that you can win real money ( $250-1000) at the end of their 10 event season if you have either: A-picked the most correct winners but also if you have won the most in the fantasy wagering.

Community: A+

Good forum with a decent amount of posts. What reallt puts it over the top is the ability to create your own fight camps and compete to see who the best camp is. You can invite your friends to join you and battle it out against the players from MMAWeekly or Sherdog or even my one man team.

Fun factor: A

I would definately say if you havent checked them out yet you really should. The site is very user friendly and has many more features like creating your own Top 10 lists for each weight class and pound for pound. So if you havent gone over there yet get off your ass and go. If you need a camp to join just find me here

 Good Luck!
