According to a one line headline on the EliteXC homepage, they have signed Nick Diaz to a long term contract.
I guess this means we wont be seeing the young star back in the octagon for a while to come. This is good for Diaz, he needs a good home that will support him and give him matchups that showcase his versatility. Diaz is definately a fighter they should use to fill out their 155 and 170lb classes. He has talent on the ground to spare and has an awkard but highly effective standup game.
