Rob Marrow vs. Brad Levin - 190lbs

 

1.       Levin takedown heavy shots from guard. Levin 2nd takedown from clinch and pass to side mount. Marrow regains guard and Marrow locked in an armbar as round one ended but couldn’t finish.

2.        Marrow wins on the feet and slips. Levin takedown and short punches to stay busy. Marrow kimura sweep to mount and landed heavy shots. Marrow locked in another choke as time expired but again couldn’t finish before the bell.

3.       Marrow lands heavy shots that dazed Levin and lands a beautiful headlock slam. Scramble and Levins on top again. Marrow locks up a triangle Levin slips out and finishes out the round with pepper shots from guard.

Matt O’Donnell vs. Nick Wayne – 155lbs

1.       Wayne takedown after heavy initial exchange. Matt attempted armbar and Nick slipped out and landed heavy shots for the TKO ref stoppage win @ 2:53 Rd 1

Justin Felix vs. Jeremy Downs – 170lbs

1.       Felix making his MMA debut took on the heavy handed Downs. Downs landed pinpoint strikes and other than a brief ground scramble showed his experience and early in the 2nd round landed punches that sent Felix reeling across the cage and Downs finished with some brutal ground and pound forcing the ref to stop the fight.

2.       Downs def. Felix TKO Ref Stoppage Rd 2

Mike Heartline vs. Stephen Roberson – 205lbs

1.       Both men making their MMA debuts. Heartline wanted no part of the standup game and it showed as Roberson landed heavy shots and stuffed Heartlines takedown attempts in rout to a quick and vicious KO victory.

2.       Rob def. Heartline via KO 0:44 Rd 1

Jake Himes vs. Bryan “The Hostile Pentecostal” Fielder – 155lbs

1.       Fielder secured the takedown and used his first-rate ground skills to pass Himes open guard and sunk in a nasty guillotine choke that Himes fought as long as he could but eventually Fielder put him to sleep for the quick and impressive submission victory.

2.       Fielder def. Himes via Technical  Submission (Guillotine) 1:16 Rd 1

Charles “The One” Wilson vs. Chris “The Asian Sensation” Boyd – 135lbs

1.       Wilson is recognized for his unorthodox style that throws off more conventional fighters and is known for his 3 round war with one of the world’s best in Miguel Torres. Boyd came in as a highly respected wrestler with great takedowns. Boyd secured an immediate takedown, but Charles Wilson slapped on a slick and lightening fast triangle that Boyd fought as long as he could and eventually had to tap out as the choke combined with Wilson’s punches from the submission hold were too much.

Scott Sands vs. John Kolosci – 170lbs

1.       In a match-up of two great wrestlers Ultimate Fighter vet John Kolosci took on an up-and-coming Midwest star in Scott Sands. After an initial stalemate John secured a takedown and landed some big shots that helped him work to Mount. From there he landed more big shots and transitioned well from mount to back control for a clear cut round one victory.

2.        Traded takedowns for a very even round.  MMAStation scores it 2-0 John

3.       John takedown to side mount. Kimura attempt. Sands takedown and huge knee during scramble. Dazes John they trade haymakers to the crowds delight. Round ends in clinch with both fighters exhausted. John with bad cut. Round 3 to Sands.

Ted Worthington vs. Darren Elkins – 155lbs

1.       Undefeated in 9 fights Darren Elkins took on Worthington, a veteran of over 40 fights. As can happen in any MMA match, Elkins ate a big uppercut early and hit the mat. Although he sprung right up the ref had already stepped in and stopped the fight. 

2.       Ted Worthington def. Darren Elkins via TKO Ref Stoppage 0:13 Rd 1

Yusup Sauduliev vs. Jared “The Spider” McMahan – 135lbs

1.       In a battle of two undefeated bantamweights, 10-0-1 Jared McMahan battled against 5-0-1 Yusup Sauduliev. Both men are spectacular on the ground and exceptionally strong for their weight. The two traded a couple of initial punches and Yusup fell to his back and wrapped his leg around McMahons securing a heel hook. McMahan was in obvious pain and looked ready to tap, but rolled with the submission in an attempt to get free and as the fighters rolled to the mat his ankle broke in two for an unfortunate ending to a matchup of two great fighters.

2.       Yusup Sauduliev def. Jared  McMahan via TKO (broken ankle due to a heel hook) 0:16 Rd 1

Jeff Green vs. Josh “The Young Assassin” Shockley – 155lbs

1.       Always tough Jeff Green locked horns in the main event with The Young Assassin John Shockley. Shockley dominated most of the three round fight showing proficient stand-up skills and superior wrestling ability, taking Green down at will. On the ground Green was more in survival mode than doing any real damage to Shockley, but as always Green was able to absorb a tremendous amount of punishment and keep fighting. Despite throwing everything in his arsenal, Shockley couldn’t stop Green in spite of holding dominant positions for most of the fight and Green’s huge heart and persistence made for a thrilling main event and a great finish to an evening of solid MMA action.

2.       John Shockley def. Jeff Green via Unanimous Decision Rd3
