There has been a lot of major stories over the past few days and a few minor but noteworthy ones.

To start off we have former TUF fighter Jesse Taylor was released from his UFC contract again according to a report by the Wrestling Observer. Taylor was released for these comments made about Quinton "Rampage" Jackson:

"What goes around, comes around, I guess," said Taylor when Jackson's name was brought up. "I didn't even know until I watched the show, but he said 'He doesn't deserve to to represent the company,' and look what happened to him."

While I know Rampage is a star of the UFC and someone the promotion cares about it would still seem to be a petty move by the UFC brass. Fighter should be allowed to speak their mind when it comes to their peers and anything else for that matter.  We also received the notice that the UFC was considering a November return for the former LHW Champ.

It is going to be interesting to see how the UFC also responds to Roger Huerta's recent complaints about pay. ThaRealness gives us some good thoughts regarding Huertas comments.

Michael Rome of BloodyElbow also put up a great piece on the future options of Tito Ortiz that is definitely worth the read. The article which comes on the heels of several news sources reporting that Tito will co-headline the next Affliction event against Babalu Sobral.

The latest round of steroid/drug suspensions is in and as usual its the guys who lost testing positive. First up was James Irvin testing positive for two substances after being knocked out by Anderson Silva on July 19th followed by Justin Levens testing positive after not even fighting at the July 19th Affliction:banned event.
